Myanmar Meanderings

This is where I will post, time and internet access permitting, some of my travel photos and stories from the slightly mysterious and closed country of Myanmar, aka Burma. My girlfriend Joanne and I will be moving there in late July to teach for the next 2 school years at Yangon International School in Yangon (aka Rangoon), the main city. The capital is moving or has already moved in a somewhat mysterious and unexplained way to the middle of nowhere, starting last November, but I'm sure that Yangon will continue to be the commercial centre of the country for years to come.
